The winning photo was 'The hunting Gray Owl´ which he took at the end of March in Lapland, Finland.

A technically excellent photo, all details of the bird are visible. Also the composition is convincing; the Gray Owl is floating beautifully into the frame, where the shadowlines of the sunset, coming from the left, give an extra element to the picture.
